The movie FERRARI will follow Enzo Ferrari as he faces many problems in his personal and professional life. These problems include a divorce with his spouse, bankruptcy, and the pressure of leading a team of drivers at the Mille Miglia. The movie is based on the book ENZO FERRARI: THE MAN, THE CARS, THE RACES, THE MACHINE, written by Brock Yates in 1991, the book is based on his experiences as a reporter for NASCAR on CBS, as well as the host of American Sports Cavalcade, the famous TNN race show, and the creator of Cannonball Run, the famous race. Michael Mann, the director of FERRARI said in an interview with Variety that the movie will be much more brutal than audiences anticipate as it features a car crash scene involving one of the Ferrari drivers, with vivid details such as severed body parts and upper bodies.
