The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes - The story of Panem's Ruthless President

Ahead of its release, the synopsis of the prequel movie The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is now in high demand. The fifth installment of The Hunger Games film franchise is again directed by Francis Lawrence.

The story in the film is also still based on the novel by Suzanne Collins with the same title and published in 2020. Featuring Tom Blynt as the character Coriolanius Snow, this prequel to The Hunger Games will begin airing on November 13, 2023.


The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes will not tell the adventures of Katniss Everdeen, but the story of young Coriolanus before becoming the cruel President Snow of Panem.


At the age of 18, Coriolanus Snow was known as a handsome young man who came from a respectable family. However, after the war of the Capitol erupted, Coriolanus' family was devastated and fell into poverty.


To change his fate and restore his family's pride, Coriolanus Snow was chosen as a mentor for the 10th Hunger Games. Unfortunately, he felt a dilemma because the tribute he mentored was District 12. Where the region is the poorest in Panem.


Although initially reluctant to take the opportunity, Coriolanus Snow finally agreed to mentor Lucy Gray from District 12.


Interestingly, Lucy Gray is not an ordinary girl. She has an alluring ability and charm. So it was easy for Lucy Gray to become the center of attention and the favorite tribute of the Capitol residents.


Not only residents, Coriolanus Snow is also enamored with Lucy Gray's figure. He was willing to do anything to help Lucy survive during the game. He was even willing to break the rules to sacrifice his family name.


However, in the end Coriolanus Snow must choose between good or evil and self-interest or justice. So, how is his relationship with Lucy Gray and how did he become the cruel President of Panem?
